When you focus on improving the curb appeal of your home, you will likely pay attention to the walkways. Right now you may have people just walking on the grass up to the steps. If it’s raining or snowing outside, odds are that’s going to be filling the tread of their sneakers or boots with the mud.
Guess where that’s going to go. If you install a smooth, clean walkway, there’s a lot less risk of having mud and dirt tracked into your house.
Reason #2: Make the entryway neater and more inviting.
When people see a dirty, unkempt house from the outside, they are less likely to care about whether or not they’re tracking in dirt. If, on the other hand, guests approach your home and see how well kept it is on the outside, they will be more conscientious about taking care of it on the inside.
